Having graduated with his MBBS from Ranchi's apex medical college, RIMS Ranchi, he pursued his post-graduate residency in Pediatrics at ABVIMS & Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi.
Following post-graduation, Dr. Kumar served as Senior Resident in the Department of Pediatrics at the apex medical institute of India — All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, followed by further Senior Residency at Dr. RML Hospital. To address the critical scarcity of specialized pediatric nephrologists across Jharkhand and Bihar, he completed rigorous subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology at the prestigious Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU), Varanasi.
His specialized clinical acumen encompasses real-time ultrasound-guided pediatric renal biopsies, acute and chronic peritoneal dialysis, pediatric hemodialysis, tailored steroid-sparing therapies for resistant nephrotic syndrome, and pediatric renovascular hypertension.
